Dr.Hasson 4008 Grafts Hair Transplant Result/FUT/ 1 Session/ Patient Submitted Photos and Time Lapse Video

This patient from the UK in his late 20’s traveled to Vancouver for surgery at the start of last year to address his frontal and mid scalp thinning. He submitted these photos to Doug which marked his 12 month results. The patient is very happy with his transformation and I had the chance to meet with him in London last week to shot some hi-res photos and video which we will be documenting in full very soon.

In the meantime I thought you should see the transformation from the patient submitted photos and a very cool time lapse video that he took of his hair every day from day 1 until month 9 of his result.

Dr. Wong 3550 Grafts Hair Transplant Result/ 1 Session/ FUT/ 1 Year Post Op

This patient in his mid 30’s from Alberta reached out to us via an online consultation in the fall of 2013. In December of the same year he came to the clinic for his procedure.
He was taking Propecia at the time of his surgery. Dr. Wong rebuild the hairline and frontal zone blending into the mid scalp with 3550 grafts. Of which 1007 were singles, 2303 doubles, 240 were 3-4 hair grafts.

The strip size was 21cm x 1.7 cm. Ironically, he returned to the clinic for these follow photos exactly one year to the day of his surgery to show us his result.

This patient in his early 50’s from Vancouver first came to see Dr. Wong when he was 37. It took him well over a decade to finally have surgery. The transformation is quite remarkable and if you could see his face he almost looks in his 30’s again, ok 40’s :-)

With 5162 grafts ( 1307 single hair grafts, 3231 – double hair grafts, 624 – 3-4 hair grafts, strip size 33cm x 1.8cm) Dr. Wong was able to give essentially complete coverage. These photos were taken 1 year from his surgery.

Dr. Hasson Hair Transplant Result 3888 Grafts/ One Session/ FUT/ 11 Months Post Op

This Vancouver area patient was in his early 30’s when he came to see Dr. Hasson regarding hair restoration surgery. 3888 grafts were dense packed in the hairline and frontal zone to create this result just short of 11 months post-op. 1275 singles hair grafts were used along with 2323 doubles and 290 3-4 hair grafts. The strip size was 30cm x 1.5 cm.

We knew going in he was a good candidate and would have a great result and needless to say no one was disappointed in the outcome.

So you wanna be a rock star ? Dr. Hasson 5761 grafts/ Hair Transplant Result FUT/ 1 session

This musician from Calgary came to visit us based on a recommendation from an acquaintance. Dr. Hasson was able to harvest 5761 grafts to address his extensive hair loss in one session. He had 1344 single hair grafts, 4024 doubles and 393 3-4 hair units. Strip size was 30cm x 1.5-2cm. Above average donor hair with average hair caliber. He started topical Finasteride at the time of surgery.

These photos sent in by the patient were 8 months post-op. As you can imagine he is very pleased so far with the result and this bass player/singer once again looks the part. He will be making a trip out to Vancouver this summer where we plan to take photos and video. We will update his case in the coming months.

Dr. Wong Hair Transplant Result 4461 Grafts in One Session FUT

This patient came to us from Italy after research led him to Dr. Wong. His goal was to have maximum coverage in his first surgery. He was willing to give up some density in the front to ensure the crown could get reasonable coverage. He would then plan on a second procedure to add density to this area. 4461 grafts achieved his goal and he was quite pleased with the result. 925 were single hair grafts,3231 were 2’s and 305 were 3-4 hair grafts. The strip was 31.2 cm x 1.5 cm. On this day of his second procedure, 3,000 grafts were added to the frontal zone and mid scalp which should complete his transformation. He will be featured on our website in a video and we hope to have updated photos in the future showing the final result of his most recent surgery.

Dr. Wong Patient Experience Of His Hair Transplant Surgery at Hasson & Wong

Watch Carlo’s experience of his surgery with Dr. Wong and his team when he returned to Vancouver for his second hair transplant. Carlo traveled to Hasson & Wong just over 1 year ago to have surgery with Dr. Wong. In that first session the goal was to cover the entire balding area to give coverage rather than high density. Dr. Wong was able to transplant 4461 grafts. It was always in Carlo’s mind that he would require a second surgery to add further density into the frontal area and rebuild his temple points.

Dr Wong Hasson & Wong FUE case 1202 grafts Manual Extraction

So here with have the first online Hasson & Wong FUE case to present to you. This patient from California in his late 20’s came to see Dr Wong to restore his hairline. He wore his hair very short and had a desire to continue to do so. FUE suited him better for this reason. He had coarse Asian hair and a manual .85mm hand held punch was used. 1202 grafts were used to thicken his hairline.

The photos represent the immediate post op placement and extraction sites and I intend to update this thread with his progress.

I will be documenting more FUE cases that we have been performing very soon.

This patient in his late 30’s from Ireland came to see Dr Wong with a goal of improving the hairline and the top of the scalp. Dr Wong transplanted 3999 grafts in one session to address the areas of concern. I met up with the patient in Dublin on my last trip in November 2014 to assess his results at the 10 month stage.

The patient is very happy with his transformation and was happy for me to share them with the community.

Patient is not willing to take Propecia but has a good donor area for more work in the future if and when required.
